ABOUT:

The Lewisburg Community Garden is a project started by Bucknell University and the Borough of Lewisburg. The garden provides plots for community members and grows its own organic produce for donation. In 2017, around 3,800 pounds of fruits and vegetables were given to local food banks and hot meal programs. In addition, it provides education and increases outreach on justice, sustainability, and the ways humans interact with nature. Volunteers are needed to care for the plants. They are expected to plant, weed, water, and harvest. Some can also help with event planning, dropping off donations, and running social media.
