Geisinger is Danville's local hospital, but has grown to have sites throughout central Pennsylvania. Volunteers play important roles in serving patients and their families. This includes visiting and comforting patients, handling therapy dogs, knitting hats for infants, greeting visitors, helping at the Ronald McDonald family room, and etc.
